Ingredients :
- 150g sugar
- 150g flour
- 1 tbsp vanilla flavor
- 2 eggs
- 200g dark chocolate
- 1 pinch salt and baking soda
- 100g dried fruit (pecans and hazelnuts in this recipe)
Directions
Future pastry chef, if you want to make your brownie a marvel then you will have to follow our recipe carefully!
Start by coarsely chopping the 200g of chocolate. Put a small handful of that chopped chocolate aside, you'll use it later. Put the rest of the chocolate in a microwave-safe container. Add 150g of butter and melt everything in the microwave for one and half minute.
We do the same thing again, we roughly chop the mixture of dried fruits this time. You can put your favorites in it: pecans, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts... the choice is wide. If you don't like nuts, yes we also think of you, you can also leave them out.
Same as for chocolate, reserve on the side a few nuts, it will be useful later.
Pour your largest part of nuts into the preparation. And using a whisk, smooth the melted chocolate and butter mixture.
We are anticipating as we are very hungry and greedy, so we preheat the oven to 180 degrees!
In a large bowl, add 2 eggs, 1 tbsp of vanilla flavoring and 150g of sugar.
Whisk together using a whisk or an electric mixer to obtain a frothy mixture. Add the chocolate mixture, 150g of flour and mix to obtain a homogeneous paste. Add a pinch of baking soda and a pinch of salt and mix again! Come and incorporate the dried fruits and once again, definitely, come and mix! It never ends!
We know you're tempted to eat the raw preparation of the dough but it's not good for you, try to wait juuuuust a little longer!
You're almost there ! This is the last step: pour the dough into a small mold, preferably square or rectangular. And come and sprinkle with the chocolate and the dried fruits that you had put aside.
Bake for 25 minutes to have a very soft cake!!
